Noter til Flashoptagelse med VNC

Jeg har brugt følgende programmer til og lave flash optagelse med VNC.
En Linux maskine hvor jeg installerede tightvnc og vnc2swf
Ændrer filen ".vnc/xstartup"

Starter så vncserveren med følgende paramter:
# Xvnc :1 -geometry 800x600 -rfbwait 2 -dpi 96 -deferupdate 1 -lazytight -tst -bs -depth 16
nu har man en vncserver på display :1, så connecter man til den vncserver hvor man starter en ny vncserver
# Xvnc :2 -geometry 800x600 -dpi 96 -deferupdate 2 -tst -bs -depth 16
Så exporter man et browser vindue til vncserveren
#export DISPLAY=":2"
#firefox
Nu starter man så vnc2swf og optager sin flash film, når man er færdig lukker man det vinduet man åbner nu.
#vnc2swf -encodings raw -geometry 800x600 -depth 16 -framerate 10 -startrecording -recordingmethod 1 flashfil.swf localhost:2
Nu har man så sin flash film, det eneste man mangler er og lave en html fil, det vil se meget ringe ud hvis man ikke laver den html fil.

AMD/ATI og Nvidia i Gentoo Linux

Her er en lille guide til hvordan man får et onboard AMD/ATI kort (HD3300 / RS/780) til at køre sammen med et Nvidia (GTX460)
Inden man starter er det nemmeste enten at så xdm fra ved boot: rc-update.d del xdm eller bruge ssh i tilfælde af x serveren crasher
For at maskinen vil finde begge kort SKAL (i hvert fald for mit Asus bundkort) det onboard kort være sat som det primære kort.
Det nemmeste er der efter at slette xorg.conf og køre en Xorg -configure den finder ud af næsten alt, dog skulle jeg ændre driver fra nv -> nvidia og vesa -> radeon (X serveren crashede med fglrx driveren for mig).
